Ate Bea's 18th

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ATE BEA! :)

I loved Ate Bea's party:) it was funn. I'll give details later:))

Let me start my post with the start of my day. :)

We had classes. Only a few came to school:)) in our class, we had 14 absentees, and all of us who came to school have additional points. OYEAH:) Chemistry was the usual, full of quizzes and seatworks:| in Social Studies, we only talked about the field trip and whatever there was to talk about:)) in Trigonometry we had a game :P the rest of the day I didn't take up because of our game. :) we were excused from lunch time till the end. We watched the game of SPS and SJC. They're really good :| it sucks that we lost. We were in our home court pa naman :| sad. Coach must be really upset. :(

I went to San Beda afterwards, for Frolics. I first went in with Franz and Dianne. Then inside I met up with a bunch of friends, but I hung out with RR because he was looking for Spike:)) so I helped him. Then when we found Spike, he left me. WHAT A FRIEND:| :)) we are now foes. Kidding. Raymond and Mikko picked me up but I rode the Octopus with Quel. For almost 10 minutes we were at the topmost part of the ride it gave us headaches:)) plus, we were nakatihaya, looking straight into the sky. Whatever:)) the ride was soooo cool. Quel got nauseous though. After the ride I went to look for Raymond and Mikko but they were missing so I went straight to Doms:)) found everyone there, then we hung out. Just kept on walking around. Oh, and finally, check this:



I love it. We saw Alex Angeles. After 2 months I see him again:)) and I finally got a picture with him (and it didn't get deleted :P). ANYWAY. I only stayed at Frolics for about an hour 'cause I had to leave for the debut.

I loved my outfit for Ate Bea's debut:) the party was fun. I was with Alex and Sam most of the time. I took pictures:)) dinner was fine. I got full fast. =)) Ate Bea got surprised, she had this 18 wishes and 18 roses thing which she didn't know about :P I was part of the 18 wishes, and we (Me, Sam, Alex and Ate Marie) were all nervous we don't know why:)) I drank beer:)) It was funny that my mom was asking me to hide it from my lola because she'll get mad if she sees me drinking beer =)) but it was okay for my mom and dad. =)) another funny thing was that dad was drinking tea, mom was drinking coffee, and I was drinking beer:)) we danced after, and met a few of Ate's friends. We were the last to leave. We took pictures again. :)

"Skarlet" MTV

I had my very first music video shoot yesterday :) IT WAS VERY FUN.

Since I was still sick yesterday, I had doubts if I was still going to the shoot or not... but I decided to push through with it. First stop... dad's rehearsal. We went to Circus Studios and he rehearsed some songs with a band. I love the songs. :) and I love the rehearsal studio. =)) it was a cozy place. I love the guitars there. =))

Second stop.. UP Diliman. That was at around 4 pm. Call time was at 3, but we were there at 4 because of dad's rehearsal:)) I met a lot of new people. Tita Myra (Skarlet) made me choose a dress to wear. I LOVE MY OUTFIT! It was a gray velvet cocktail/cake dress. Then I had this long beady choker on, and gold shoes. I had my hair fixed, too. LOVE IT.

The video's theme was Chicago-inspired. About the 1920's. There were a lot of crime scenes and violence in the video. My role was ... I was a party girl during the 20's (one of the few who are invited to Swing parties in the 20's. I loved my role :P hahaha! let me quote Joaquin: "cream of the crop"). :)) a "Swing kid" to be exact. We just kept on partying and dancing there, like wild 20's kids. :)) my dad was there too. He was part of the band. :)

I LOVED THE SET! It was sooooo cool. :)

We were on stand-by really early. Joaquin Valdes was there. He was our assistant director. Hot. :P He told us that our shoot would start after dinner (we were there since 4. :|), but no, our sequences started at around 10. =)) and those were still our rehearsal shots. It was pretty tiring. We had how many takes because of the different camera angles. At around 1 am, I got sleepy, so I slept on the set for a while. =)) maybe 30 minutes, while waiting for our next sequence. When I woke up I was all giddy again then we had to shoot again. =)) I got new friends! The dancers and Justine. And all the other cast, too. :) everyone was friendly. :) I was the youngest, though.

The shoot ended at 3 am with two takes of the "panic" scene which hurt my feet. =)) it was the scene where we had to run to some place from the dark (to a dark alley still) without looking at the camera:)) it was hard coz you really don't know where the camera is not until you're there. Plus the floor was uhhh, not pantay. =)) really like an alley, plus there were blood marks and stuff (the video was violent. :P)

I wanted to die in the video:)) but apparently I didn't. I just ran out panicking. =))

I can't wait until I see the video. I wonder how it'll come out? I'm not even sure if I would be seen in the video most of the time but whatev. WATCH OUT FOR IT ON MYX! :) I suppose that's where it'll air first since there were Myx people there yesterday.

Smiling is Easier

Just because your eyes don't mist doesn't mean your heart doesn't cry. And just because you come out strong doesn't mean there's nothing wrong. Often you choose to pretend you're happy so you don't have to explain yourself to people who'll never understand. Sometimes, smiling is easier than explaining why you're sad.

Deep Within

"If you hold onto things too tightly and someone wants to take it away from you, it will get destroyed -- and it will hurt you."

I got that from service earlier, in Peter Tanchi's sermon. I'm really proud of myself. I'm going to church every Sunday now. :) it's great, it feels great. I just have to learn to be punctual now. =)))

In church, the teachings are about God, your faith, love, etc. But it just does not apply to God Himself only. All their teachings apply, too, in every aspect of life. That is if you think deeper within (and wayyyy beyond) the words. :D

Oh, and I have an addition to my resolutions. I WILL READ THE BIBLE :) 20 minutes each day would be enough (accdg. to Pastor Peter), so I will do it:) I want to have a closer relationship with God. People say that the Bible can cheer anyone up, so when I'm depressed and I have no one to go to, I can just read the Bible and listen to God's inspiring words. :D

I want CCF to change me spiritually. :)

New Year's Resolutions (?!)

I know I said I wouldn't make some, but I don't know. I guess I have to. It isn't too late naman, diba?

Here goes nothing:

- I will eat less. I swear. I feel so fat. I feel so big. I want to shrink my waistline 2-3 inches smaller. ;) I will try my best to eat minimal amounts (if you know me, you know how my appetite goes...). Apparently, I was able to do it before. For 3-4 months I was able to maintain my diet. I only ate salad. I went thin, and it felt so great! :) Eating only sky flakes was great, too. Kidding. But hey it worked. Eating sky flakes in between meals made my diet so much easier. From now on I'll do that again .. and I'll splurge less on meals that I used to love (I'm actually referring to Mcdonalds and other fast food that make me fat.) <3

I'll let you know when I've accomplished this:))

- I will exercise a few minutes after eating. Just to burn down all the calories that I consumed. :)) leg raises and crunches will be my new best friends. ;)

Okay, everything's about my uh, figure? Yeah. Whatever. Oh wait. It's not just that. There's a few more....

- I will keep my room fixed. And organized. Oh how I wish this will work.

- I will go to church every Sunday. :) I love CCF. <3

Do you notice that there isn't any resolution connected to studies? :) because I'm not making one. I know it won't happen and it will just break my heart if I make one then not do it. =)) hahaha. So, no resolution in accordance to my studies. I think I'm doing perfectly fine anyway. Well I say that for myself. =))

ANYWAY. Back to studying now. <3 (mind you, I only study if there are exams. Or long tests. But I don't study like the others.. Yung todo. No. I only... uh, write and visualize my handwriting. IT WORKS MIND YOU! And I also answer practice exercises. That's it. Haha.)

.. and why did I have to tell you my study habit? Weird. :|

Planner

I finally have my Starbucks 2007 planner. ;p

I'm not yet done studying. :| I still have TLE and Spanish. Sucks. I'm too lazy to study:)) and as it is, I barely understood anything in MAPEH while I was reviewing. Sheesh. Good luck to me tomorrow. ;| oh. And we still have that long test in Chemistry. Oh my. Double (not just double actually) good luck to me for tomorrow. :|

Well at least I satisfied my craving for tonight, and that was Starbucks. :P and I finally got my planner. Yay. But I agree, last year's planner was better. It had more content to read and there were freebies. This year, they added on some space to write on, which is pretty good, too. ;) well whatever. I'm just happy I have mine now. :P hahaha.

Freakkin' Chatters :|

I went to the internet cafe earlier to have my project printed. It cost me a lot. :|

Since the internet there was hella slow, I "peeped" through the monitor of my seat mate:)) I can't help but laugh silently. She had these chat mates from the US and uh, you know, it's gross. She was like "ei hw r u?" then the guy responds. Later on they ask for each other's asl's. :| The guy asked my seat mate to describe herself. She was like "I'm 5'6, long hair, fare complexion" laugh with me now. :)) it grossed me out more that I saw the "still a virgin?" question =)) FREAKY. People of their kind. Eeew. :| I was reading for almost 10 minutes=)) she didn't notice. :P my seat mate asked the guy if whatever he was saying was true:)) they didn't believe each other. HAHAHA. She even wrote their conversation on a notebook which grossed me out again. :| oh, and here's the climax. It made me laugh hard. My seat mate was like "can I see you?" the guy asked "you have webcam?" and she was like "no! no webcam. i want to see you" blah blah. The guy said he was depressed:)) The guy asked if she has pictures, she was like "yes, lots of pictures, but there's something bad in my face" :)) then when the guy insisted she was like "there's something happen to my face...."

Oh yes, dear. Something happen to your face. =))

I HATE IT. It made me want to laugh really hard. But I laughed silently instead. Or else I'll be embarrassing myself, and her too. =))

But whatever. I spotted 3 cute guys in the cafe. :>

Enough With The "Bling"

Earlier, I saw this guy at Shang. He's not the type of guy that when he passes by, people would look at him. No, he's just an ordinary guy. I even wonder why he was at Shang. :P why? My reputation of Shang has been different (and maybe yours, too). I always thought that people who go to Shang are ... you know ... just not like them. Not to be rude or anything, but really, now, there are a lot of people like "them" in Shang. Not that I'm being matapobre (sp?) since I'm not in like, the A-List part of the society in the first place. :| I only noticed him because of his outfit. =)) I was like, "If there was an ambush makeover here, I'd be friends with this guy then I'll contact ambush makeover and have him ambushed." :)) he was in a brown loose polo shirt, white shirt, long baggy denim shorts (still had his "bling" on it. :|), cap, white knee-high socks (it extended until above the end of his shorts which was v. disturbing) and white "nike" rubber shoes.

Couldn't you guys agree more??? =)) I just had to remember what he was wearing. =)) it distracted my dinner a lot. :|

I can still picture how he looked like now. =))

I just had to blog about this. It's very very disturbing. =))

Hanging Out

I got to hang out with Quel and Fer again! And by hang out, I mean really hang out ;) haha. Kulang sa amin si Darling! My Mcdo buds before ;)

It was dismissal time, I was with Fer first. We kept on teasing each other, it came to the point that we both almost fell down the stairs ;)) hilarious. I was so noisy. We were so noisy. I kept on shouting at the staircase. =)) just because of ....

Then later on Fer and I walked and walked, following a particular someone. We went out (bec. this person went out too), then went back inside school:)) we went to where Quel was then later on decided to go to Mcdo.

That was around 4 pm. We left Mcdo at 5 something:)) we had so much fun. There were lots of stories, mostly about the past. Memories of our freshman years. We just realized how fun our first year was. ;) and there were stories, too, earlier that we didn't remember if it was during our first year or second year. We got everything mixed up. ;) oh, and news. Naging crush din pala ni Fer si ..... :)) I couldn't believe it. I just laughed at them earlier =)) Quel, she had the most stories. Great mind, she can remember a lot. I can't. =))

Bottom line is, I missed hanging out with them. It's been quite a long time (even if Fer is my kabarkada -- we rarely hang out like that). It was fun, really really fun. ;)

That was the latter part of my day. Though my day didn't start fine, it's great since it ended pretty well. ;)

Love wise, my day wasn't that good. :| academically speaking, too. Long tests and quizzes. :| periodical exams on Monday. How great. :|

No school on the 9th and the 15th! =)

Just to let you know, letting you go was never easy. But I am willing to give this love a second chance, I pray that you do, too.

HAPPY NEW YEAR ;)

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! ;)

My New Year was fun as compared to my Christmas.

New Year's eve was already noisy. Our neighbors had their paputoks firing early:)) when the clock said it was midnight already, I looked up in the sky and saw a lot of fireworks, most of which were just above our house since the fireworks came from the next street. I took videos and pictures of the fireworks. They were dazzling, I want to see them again:)) then we had Media Noche. My dad and I got bored at home so at around 1 am, we decided to hit the streets and look for an open Starbucks. Unfortunately, we found none. We first went to Tomas Morato, sadly, it was closed. So was the one in Timog, and ABS-CBN. We were in EDSA then my dad told me that there was a party at Makati. So first, we went to Rockwell. We went around looking for parking space and God blessed us none so we went to Greenbelt 3 instead. There we were able to park and we saw an open Starbucks! Yeah right. Its lights were open and there were people inside but the store was closed. How unfortunate we had been. So, my dad and I just walked (yes, walked) to Ayala Ave. It was so far :| my sides hurt bad. Then we missed the party, too! When we got there everyone was packing up since it was like 3:15 am already. Chrissake. :| so we walked back to Greenbelt, then we bummed around a bit. We just sat there, nothing else. Funny:)) dad and I decided to leave by 3:30 then we hit 7-11 (or was it Mini Stop?). We saw more or less 15 7-11s opened, it was calling us to buy from them instead :)) We got home really quick, around 4. I didn't sleep yet. I read my book, The A-List. I got to sleep at 6 am. Great. Then I woke up at 10:30. :|

My cousins came over for lunch. I had so much fun playing with them (read: 10 y/o and below. All four of them I was playing with). We played dodge ball, volleyball, monkey in the middle, and whatever ball games. We, too, played wrestling.. and we weren't inside the house. =)) it was funny, and super fun. I enjoyed playing with them.

My mom, dad and I watched a movie at Gateway afterwards. We watched Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo, and as expected, it was nice :) it's so funny. And I got my Starbucks! 3 more stickers! Yey. Maja Salvador was there, and we were, too, seated a few seats away from each other in the cinemas. Whatev. She's so simple. Haha anyway.
